Two more newspapers in Montana have praised Jon Testers record of “collaboration and compromise,” endorsing the Montana farmer’s bipartisan work for Montana’s hunters and anglers.
Thousands of Montana sportsmen and women would have been forced to give up their right to fish and hunt on public lands if Rehberg passed his controversial plan to sell off prime public land to wealthy private owners for rock-bottom prices.
Montanans across the state are opening their local newspapers this week to find full-page ads contrasting Jon Tester’s Montana-first agenda with the wrong priorities of his fellow U.S. Senate candidates, Congressman Dennis Rehberg and Libertarian Dan Cox.
The National Association of REALTORS is backing Tester at the recommendation of the Montana Association of REALTORS.

“The bottom line is polls will continue to show this race close as Jon’s momentum grows across Montana,” said Montanans for Tester campaign manager Preston Elliott. “In a race as close as this, there are moving pieces that change by the day and the timing of various polls matters.”
Montana farmer reminds Montanans that voting begins today
The campaign of Montana farmer Jon Tester today released clips of key moments in Montana’s first televised U.S. Senate debate.
Tester, as always, will voluntarily submit his quarterly fundraising report electronically to the Federal Election Commission, where it will be publicly available to all Montanans.
“The contribution limits on Montana’s political campaigns have worked well for decades, ensuring that our democracy is controlled only by people and their ideas. This decision, like Citizens United, moves us in the wrong direction. We don’t need more money in politics; we need more accountability.”
