Tester Campaign Statement on Short-Term Plans Being Pushed in Montana by Insurance Commissioner Rosendale

Billings—Today, Chris Meagher, communications director for the campaign of Big Sandy farmer and U.S. Senator Jon Tester released the following statement on Insurance Commissioner Matt Rosendale’s continued push for dangerous, short-term insurance plans in Montana:

“If you have a pre-existing condition like diabetes, cancer, asthma, or are pregnant, beware. The short term health insurance plans Insurance Commissioner Matt Rosendale has been pushing and are now being offered in Montana don’t have to cover your ailments. These new plans don’t have to pay your bills and don’t have to cover you or your loved ones. But Rosendale isn’t worried about that, he’s worried about himself and making sure his out-of-state insurance exec donors are happy.”
