Tester Campaign Statement on Matt Rosendale’s Failure to Hold Health Insurance Companies Accountable
Billings – Today, Chris Meagher, spokesman for Montanans for Tester, released the following statement on Matt Rosendale announcing proposed health care rates:
“As insurance commissioner, Matt Rosendale is supposed to hold Montana’s insurance companies accountable and challenge unfair rate hikes. In his short time in office, he has already rubber stamped rate hikes of up to 23 percent, calling those increases reasonable. All this while doing nothing but support dangerous policies that would jack up costs for Montanans and kick folks off their insurance. Montanans can’t trust him to look out for them or stand up to insurance companies and hold them accountable.”
