Tester Campaign Launches Television Ad Highlighting President Trump’s Praise of Jon Tester Legislation

Ahead of Presidential Rally, Ad Shows Previous Rally Praise of Tester’s Bills

Billings—Today, the campaign for Big Sandy farmer and United States Senator Jon Tester launched a new television ad ahead of President Donald Trump’s Billings event. Tester’s campaign ad uses previous Trump rally footage to highlight the president’s praise of Jon Tester’s relentless advocacy for Montana’s veterans.

Tester has sent 19 bills to President Trump’s desk and the President has repeatedly praised Tester’s VA MISSION Act and VA Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act at his rallies across the country—including when he was in Great Falls earlier this year.

“We appreciate President Trump praising Jon Tester bills at rallies all over the country, because the people of Montana know that Jon will never stop fighting for them,” said Montanans for Tester campaign manager Christie Roberts. “Folks need to look no further than the bills Jon has sent to President Trump’s desk to see that Montana comes first for Jon Tester. He’ll always put politics aside to fight for our state. We look forward to hearing the President continuing to praise Jon’s bills at tonight’s Billings rally.”

The ad will run in Billings throughout the day of President Trump’s visit.
