Tester Campaign Announces Educators for Tester

Names Co-Chairs to Educators-Led Group in Support of Jon Tester

Billings—Today, farmer and U.S. Senator Jon Tester launched Educators for Tester, a group of current and former teachers from across Montana who are dedicated to re-electing Jon because of his relentless defense of public education.

Tester, a former teacher and school board member himself, is a longtime advocate for teachers and improving public education in Montana.

“As a former teacher, I know firsthand how hard Montana’s educators work,” Tester said. “These men and women educate the leaders of tomorrow and we owe it to them to fight for better schools and give them more local control of our classrooms.  I’ll never stop holding bureaucrats accountable when Washington tries to get in between our local schools and our communities.”

Tester has been a long-time champion of local control of Montana’s schools and has fought relentlessly to get teachers the resources they need.

Educators for Tester is led by three educators from across Montana who support Jon in his efforts.
