Sidney Herald: Tester delivers big border security win for 14 Montana communities
Billings – Today, the Sidney Herald highlighted that, thanks to Sen. Jon Tester, Montana got a big border security win for 14 communities around the state. Thanks to Tester’s relentless advocacy for border security in the Senate, he was able to secure $1.5 million in Operation Stonegarden grants for Montana communities.
Operation Stonegarden grants give local law enforcement better resources to crack down on drug trafficking and human trafficking, combat terrorism, and strengthen ports of entry along the border. The funding that Tester secured will primarily benefit Montana communities along the northern border.
