NEW AD: Rosendale Sued Multiple Times Over Shoddy Construction in His Housing Subdivision, Dodges Responsibility
Billings—This week, the campaign for Big Sandy farmer and United States Senator Jon Tester launched a new 30-second statewide television ad to highlight the housing development East Coast developer Matt Rosendale developed in Great Falls—and the lawsuits he faced in the aftermath.
The ad features Mike Raile, the former Homeowners Association President of Rosendale’s housing subdivision, talking about issues with homes in the subdivision.
Residents sued Rosendale four times after their homes began experiencing structural issues. In his deposition, Rosendale admitted he was just trying to “turn a buck.”
“Matt Rosendale runs his property development the way he runs for office—out-of-touch and looking out for himself,” said Christie Roberts, campaign manager for Montanans for Tester. “Montana families deserve better than Rosendale, who is quick to throw their priorities under the bus if he stands to gain from it. Rosendale may pose in front of other people’s red barns and pretend he’s a Montana rancher, but he will always be a self-serving East Coast developer.”
