Montana Veterans Support Jon Tester

Campaign Announces Veterans for Tester, Group of Veterans from Across Montana

Billings—Today, farmer and U.S. Senator Jon Tester stood with veterans in Butte to launch Veterans for Tester, a group of veterans from all corners of Montana who support Jon and his relentless advocacy to get veterans the care that they’ve earned.

Tester, who is ranking member on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, has had ten bipartisan bills to improve veterans care and hold the VA accountable signed into law by President Trump in this Congress.

Jon has been fighting for veterans by adding VA facilities, providing tools to bring more specialists to our VA hospitals and clinics, fighting to give veterans a choice of a local doctor when the VA can’t meet their needs, and making it easier to fire bad VA employees who aren’t doing their jobs.

“The brave men and women who have put their lives on the line to serve our country deserve strong leadership and someone who will hold the VA accountable,” Tester said. “I’m not here to play political games—I’m here to roll up my sleeves and get to work. I won’t ever stop fighting to make sure this nation lives up to the promises we made to each and every one of our veterans.”
