Rehberg Games – The Debt Ceiling Dance: A perfect 10!
Day 1: July 30, 2012
As a former gymnast, Congressman Rehberg knows how to flip, flop, somersault and straddle. After 35 years in politics, Congressman Rehberg’s priorities are out of touch and wrong for Montana. Today we begin the Rehberg Games, a special series designed to hold Congressman Rehberg accountable for his 35-years of political gymnastics.
WARM-UP: Dennis Rehberg said raising the debt ceiling was a “reckless Action”
On February 4, 2010, Congressman Rehberg said of a statutory increase in the federal debt limit: “This reckless action is a down payment by Congress which is trying to spend our way to prosperity.” [Office of Rep. Denny Rehberg, 2/04/10]
DISMOUNT: Dennis Rehberg voted to raise the debt ceiling TEN times
