Campaign will hold August 24 drawing for ‘Best Seats in the World’
BILLINGS, Mont. – One hundred additional tickets to Pearl Jam’s September 30 show in Missoula are now available only at jontester.com—and they’re expected to sell out quickly.
The campaign of Montana farmer Jon Tester released its additional tickets this morning, at a cost of $250 apiece. The tickets are available only through jontester.com on a first-come, first-serve basis. The sold-out September 30 show is Pearl Jam’s only non-festival concert in the United States this year.
Also today, Montanans for Tester announced it will hold its drawing for the “Best Seats in the World” on Friday, August 31. Even after all tickets are sold, all fans and supporters of Jon Tester are welcome to automatically enter for a chance to win at jontester.com with a donation of $10 or any other amount.
The winner of of the Best Seats in the World will receive two on stage recliner seats, VIP passes, admission to preshow events with Tester and members of the band, roundtrip travel to Missoula, and hotel accommodations.
It is the first time in the band’s history it will allow two lucky fans to sit on stage.
Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament, a fellow native of Big Sandy, Mont., is a longtime friend of the Tester family. Ament’s father, a barber, gave Tester his first flattop haircut.
“Jon is the real deal. He’s a hardworking Montana farmer who has never forgotten who he works for or where he comes from. He’s one of us, a rare gem who truly represents Montanans in D.C.,” Ament said. “I look forward to joining folks from across Montana in support of Jon to re-elect him in November.”
