KULR: Tester Shares Family Plan

Losing a loved one is never easy. That’s why Senator Jon Tester is trying to improve the existing Family Leave Act through the Parental Bereavment Act.

Tester’s proposed legislation would allow families who have lost loved ones nearly 12 weeks of job-protected-time-off. Tester said the plan would benefit everyone. “That can be pretty heart wrenching. It gives the employee a chance to stay home and get their life back together. I think it really helps the business, and it absolutely helps the family,” Senator Jon Tester said.
