KPAX: Tester visits MSU to learn more about its Space Science Program

The second Senator Jon Tester successfully confirmed an order of grain for his ranch, he put down his cell phone and focused his attention on the latest developments inside the Engineering and Physical Science Department at MSU.

The department needs more federal funding. Specifically for parts and labor.

“It’s not just a science problem. We need mechanical engineers, we need technical engineers, we need physicists,” said a MSU graduate, Tester’s guide for the day.

In addition to the workforce, the parts of the technology the students are developing are astounding. The school is developing a satellite that can read and hopefully predict space weather.
