Helena Independent Record Endorses Jon Tester for Senate
Billings—Big Sandy Farmer and US Senator Jon Tester received the endorsement of yet another newspaper this morning, adding the Helena Independent Record to the list of newspapers around the state.
The Independent Record joins the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Billings Gazette, and the Montana Standard in endorsing Tester.
The Independent Record touts Tester’s independence from any political party, refusing to be a rubber stamp for anyone, but willingness to work with anyone when it’s good for Montana.

He also opposes the creation of a national gun registry and even wrote to former President Barack Obama and Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to voice concerns about a U.N. proposal he said could have created an international gun registry.”
