KECI: Education Group Backs Tester
A Montana education group is backing Jon Tester for November’s election.
The democrat is trying for a second term in the US Senate. Republican, Denny Rehberg is challenging him in what is predicted to be on the the most epic battles across the nation.
Today, the political action committee representing thousands of Montana teachers, as well as other education, health care and public workers, announced its support for Tester. The group is called MEA-MFT COPE.
Among several issues, members approve of Tester’s efforts to improve rural education and job opportunities for veterans and other Montanans.
