KXLH: Helena High graduate accepted into US Air Force Academy

Keving Jagoda, a Helena High School graduate, has been accepted into the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after being nominated by U.S. Senator Jon Tester.

Tester said on Thursday that Kevin “will make a fine addition to Montana’s rich history of military service.”

A 2010 graduate of Helena High School, Jagoda was the Cadet Squadron Commander for the Lewis & Clark Squadron of the Montana Civil Air Patrol.

He also served as a volunteer with the York Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Jagoda is currently participating in an academy preparation program at the Marion Military Institute in Alabama.
