KTVQ: Tester, Rehberg urge FEMA help for Huntley Project

Montana’s Congressional delegation has urged FEMA to help repair the Huntley Project irrigation canal.

During a hearing, FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate told Senator Jon Tester that his agency needed to request and gather information.

“That didn’t answer my question,” Tester said. “Can you give me any idea on when that date might be? Is it going be in a week? Two weeks?”

“It is moving through now, sir,” Fugate said. “I would almost be ready to say days, not weeks.”
