KFYR: Tester Says Economy Will Play Large Roll in Re-election Campaign
While Sen. Jon Tester was at a hearing in Poplar, we asked him about his re-election campaign. He says right now he`s focusing on policies involving job creation and getting the nations debt under control. But says a lot can happen in the next 15 months.
“I think we just came out of one of the worst economic periods that most of us alive have ever been through, and we need to really focus on what we can do to help make small businesses more effective, more successful, and be able to hire more people,” said Tester.
