KFYR: Tester on Yellowstone Spill
United States Senator Jon Tester says companies in Montana need to prevent spills like the ExxonMobil, Yellowstone spill from happening. The spill took place earlier last month near Billings.
Tester says spills doesn`t make anybody money, and wants to make sure pipelines going underneath river systems have little potential for a spill.
“It`s very unfortunate that this happened. What has happened is, it has opened our eyes to knowing where these crossings are on the river, and making sure we know they`re adequately protected from potential floods like we had this year so we don`t have these kind of spills” says Tester.
