KFBB: New VA Mental Health Facility Unveiled in Helena
Senator Jon Tester was on hand in Helena, fostering communication with veterans and taking a part in unveiling the new mental health center for veterans.
During this afternoon’s forum, Tester met with Veteran Affairs officials discussing issues that face our veterans such as the need for more women’s health care and rural care issues.
Then, a large crowd gathered outside the newly constructed, nearly $7 million dollar, 24-bed facility that will allow Veterans who need acute psychiatric care and residential rehabilitation for post traumatic stress disorder or substance abuse to get care at the VA campus near Helena.
