KBZK: Tester visits Anaconda Job Corps
U.S. Senator Jon Tester visited the Anaconda Job Corps today to see how the students are being helped by the program.
Tester told the students that the infrastructure in the U.S. has to be rebuilt and it’ll take people like them who know how to work and apply skills to get the job done. The job corps students then took the senator on a tour of the grounds and showed him the skills they are learning, everything from welding, masonry, culinary arts and more.
Tester said he’ll take all the information gained here back to Washington to prevent cuts to the program and the students appreciate that.
