KBZK: Tester discusses Belgrade interchange
Senator Jon Tester paid a visit to the Gallatin Valley on Friday to talk about infrastructure and to take a tour of Knife River as well as the site of the Belgrade Interchange.
He says the big issue right now is dealing with the economy and jobs, and his main focus is to help move the economy forward. The Democrat added that the Belgrade Interchange is an infrastructure project that would be a good investment for businesses and the entire valley, and would help create jobs.
“it’s a big project thought it’s going to cost a lot of money but I think it’s a very necessary project. it’s a project that is going to help the Gallatin Valley grow, get better access to the airport, and do a lot of good things for the region,” Tester stated.
