Great Falls Tribune: Tester staff adds flood sessions

U.S. Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., announced Wednesday that his staff will hold seven new flood outreach meetings in addition to the 10 previously scheduled meetings across the state in early July, according to a news release.

The second series of flooding-related sessions is designed to “connect residents affected by flooding to resources available from state and federal agencies,” the release states.

The meetings will take place in Big Horn, Broadwater, Carbon, Carter, Dawson, Fallon, Fergus, Hill, Jefferson, Lewis and Clark, Musselshell, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Valley and Wibaux counties.

The meeting in Fergus County is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. July 12 at Lewistown Public Library, 701 W. Main St. in Lewistown.

The meeting in Hill County is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 11 in the Timmons Room of the Hill County Courthouse, at 315 4th St. in Havre.

The meeting in Valley County is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. July 11 in the courtroom of the Valley County Courthouse 201 Court Square in Glasgow.

Tester’s staff will have materials for flood victims on hand, and representatives from numerous agencies will be present.
