KULR 8: Computer Lab
BILLINGS – The Parmly Billings Library celebrated the opening of a new community computer lab.
Senator Jon Tester joined a group of about 20 people via Skype Tuesday to demonstrate the new lab’s technology. The room is designed to help people learn everything from basic computer skills, to how to user certain programs.
Dee Ann Redman with the library said it’s badly needed for those who aren’t computer savvy.
“For those of us who have grown up completely digital, it seems like we’ve always known how to use a computer, but we do have members of our community who aren’t sure how to use a mouse or how to use software,” Redman said.
