KECI: Congressional Delegation reacts to Billings tornado
Billings authorities fear loose debris from Sunday’s tornado could still hurt people.
They say it could become airborne if another storm passes through the city.
On Sunday, a tornado tore off siding and roofing on Montana’s biggest indoor arena, the Metra Park Arena.
It’s in an area known as the Heights, which also saw flooding and downed powerlines.
Nobody was seriously injured.
Today, Governor Brian Schweitzer and Representative Denny Rehberg toured the wreckage.
Rehberg pledged to help bring federal money to the city and county to help them recover.
Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester offered support as well.

Senator Jon Tester/(D) Montana: “My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Billings and Yellowstone County. My staff and myself are there to help in any way possible to rebuild from this devastating storm.”
