KBZK: Tester introduces prostate cancer research bill
Senator Jon Tester is taking aim at the leading cancer among Montana men, introducing a bill to streamline and expand prostate cancer research.
Federal agencies currently do not share information with each other or coordinate work when they research prostate cancer. Tester’s bill would fix that and boost research of alternatives to current screening tests.
The senator says residents of rural areas and veterans are especially impacted by prostate cancer.
