Havre Daily News: Breaking news: Tester to speak at biofuels summit
Sen. Jon Tester. D-Mont., will be a featured speaker at a summit on agricultural biofuels on Tuesday, in Havre.
The summit will be hosted by Ethanol Producers and Consumers at the MSU-Northern BioEnergy Center. Tester is scheduled to speak at 3 p.m.
Tester, a longtime proponent of American-made biofuels, introduced legislation last month to boost demand for the biofuel camelina by letting the U.S. Department of Defense contract for renewable fuel produced in the United States.
