Montana's News Station: Senate spending bill could help Great Falls

The United States Senate has voted to increase federal spending by more than $1 trillion, and if the measure is approved by the President, Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester say the measure could bring millions to the Great Falls area.

The majority of funding to the region would go to Malmstrom Air Force Base with $10.5 million being used to allow the base to upgrade its weapons storage facilities. Another $7.6 million will be allow for the building of a new Armed Forces Reserve Center.
