The Koch network spent $400 MILLION — as much as they spent during the last presidential election year in 2012 — setting the groundwork to buy influence and win elections for their allies.

Luckily, in Montana, we know how to fight back: Stop special interest money from devouring our elections. A century ago, when the Copper Kings tried to buy elections all across Montana, Montanans fought back and stopped them. Just this last year, Montana approved state-level campaign finance reform.

It’s time Congress took a page from Montana’s playbook.
