We, the undersigned, believe that:

• We need to tighten the federal budget and reduce the deficit by eliminating wasteful spending
• We need to protect important programs like Medicare and Head Start
• We need to follow Montana’s lead and raise the federal minimum wage
• We need to make sure women are paid equally for an equal day’s work
• We need to ensure every eligible American has the ability to cast a vote
• We need to keep public lands open for public use
• We need to honor the sovereignty of tribal nations
