After 12 years in Washington, is Congressman Dennis Rehberg working for you, or for the special interests?
He said lobbying is “honorable” and “important.”
Why is it important to our longtime Congressman? Dennis Rehberg told the League of Lobbyists: “I have to rely on you guys to tell me the information.”
And Dennis Rehberg doesn’t just listen to them and depend on them.
He gives them whatever they want: trillions in tax loopholes for millionaires, billions in tax breaks for corporations that send American manufacturing jobs overseas, and a proposal to send Social Security funds to Wall Street.
Congressman Rehberg says that, “if I had been smart I would’ve said nope, no, I think I’ll stay out of the political arena and go into lobbying.”
Congressman Rehberg’s priorities may be good for him, but they are wrong for Montana.
