Jon works hard to make Montana a leader in responsible, “all-of-the-above” energy development — including coal, wind, oil, gas, biofuels, solar power, and geothermal resources.
He is working hard to keep Montana on a path that will bring more jobs, better security, lower prices, and a better future for our children and grandchildren.
As a third-generation farmer, Jon knows firsthand that climate change is real, and that American reliance on oil from foreign countries is a threat to our national security and to American jobs.
Jon supports responsible development of Montana’s traditional energy resources. He supports development of the Bakken Oil Formation in eastern Montana, and he supports a responsibly-built Keystone XL Pipeline. And Jon also believes in keeping a focus on expanding renewable energy.
