The vast majority of hardworking Montanans – 99 percent of the state’s taxpayers – are paying less in taxes today than they were when Jon took office, thanks to dozens of tax cuts Jon helped pass in the last year.

As Congress turns its attention to tax reform, Jon believes that a simpler, fairer tax code can help substantially cut the national debt. Jon also believes the wealthiest individuals and corporations in America must pay their fair share, and he cites the importance of predictability in the tax code for Montana’s businesses and agricultural producers.
